Nice! The "broke" magician thing made me laugh.

Brett,
The thing that made this routine stand out, in my mind is the twisting part. Is the twisting "thing" a part of the S & M America E-zine routine? If not, where can the Steve Beam sleight be found? |

The twisting thing is described in the ezine. Steve Beam's Twister is similar to the sleight I use, so I felt it necessary to credit it, but the handling I use allows for the super fluid and smooth way of transitioning between up and down cards. It also allows for the transition form one card to the next to be smoother.
The only drawback I would say the effect has is that when your hands aren't as big as mine, the angles must be managed. I would say that for most people the angles would be good 30 degrees all the way to 180. So there ya go. Brett |

Brett,
I got the e-zine, and with that and the demo, I've been busting my knuckles with it. I have med-small hands, so hiding cards is difficult. I love this effect and move so much that I refuse to give up! I hope to try it at my restaurant next week. Just want to say "thanks" for sharing a cool effect. I like the fact that the spectator can examine the aces. You can leave hands clean or do a final steal. You can include spectator's hands for part of it or not. I also tried a shortened version for a quick opener routine. THANKS! D.Duane |
