NEW MAGICIANS ASSOCIATION PRESENTS:

Justin Miller’s 2006 Standing up and Sitting Down Lecture

WHEN: Thursday October 12th, 7:30PM Sharp
WHERE: Germania-Schwaben Hall, 416 Horace St., Bridgeport, Connecticut ( Directions Below )
ADMISSION: $15

( Or join our club for only $25 per year, and our lectures are free for members. We generally have 3 or 4 per year! )

Justin Miller’s magic LOOKS LIKE REAL MAGIC!! Every move Justin makes has been thoroughly contemplated step-by-step, with little movement. Every motion is done for a reason and is justified! Justin believes in "Keeping it simple and make the Magic happen at your finger tips."

Justin has quickly become a name to watch for in magic, nationally and internationally! With his complete sellout lecture tour in 2005 entitled HUH?, a two volume DVD set already under his belt entitled "Strolling Hands," and an e-book that has gone international, Justin will soon be releasing four more DVD’s with E-llusionist.com.!

The standing up and sitting down lecture is composed of magic that can be done while standing, or strolling, and magic that can be done while sitting down. Some of his signature effects and moves that he will demonstrate and teach are:

# Kings2Light # Card Men Don’t Do Coins
# Second Print # Flushed Again
# SHELLfish # Coins thru table
# Deck switches

AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

The second half of the lecture will be a workshop for loops. Justin has been using loops for a long time and has some KILLER ideas that will blow you away. Visual magic at its best.

Hey, a family emergency is a family emergency. If something happened to my kids and I cancelled a show to attend to it, your "amends" will be your ticket purchase refunded. Unless there was timeroom to reschedule the event, I'd say your out of luck. Make the trip to the next location or wait until next time. I doubt your being cheated your ticket price.

I hope all is well with the family Justin.

True. I think some people were upset because a few of them had a long drive (like from pittsburgh)and other distances. There was no heads up except for the two hour notice before the lecture, the majority of the people were already there. For me it's no big deal I'm a hop skip and jump away and to me it's just another lecture.
And I think another reason some people were upset which was brought to my attention he wasn't even close to being in town the day of or before because he was already home so why didn't he call Danny Archer about the cancellation and Danny could of called the person running the lecture.
Again these aren't my views, like I said I could care less , But I do care about Justin and his family , I wish the best.

As I had said on another post here as a professional speaker...if I had a family emergency it is my responsibility to make sure the venue I was going to knew that I would not be there...Like the post above there was only a message that was left at noon...no one tried to contact the place the lecture was at nor did he try the shop owners cell.

I understand that there will be emergencies but the person who was hired should have done more to notify the venue.
