I'm trying to create a number of membership benefits for our chapter above and beyond those offered by the head office. So far I've come up with the following:

1. Warehouse Club Business Membership: By maintaining a Chapter business membership in the local warehouse clubs, members are able to secure "employee" memberships at a reduced annual rate. Sams's Club Business members get into the stores earlier than regular members - shorter lines, shorter delays, first call on great deals. I believe that Costco business memberships also offer a 2% rebate to the Chapter on all items purchased by business members.

2. A local printer has agreed to discount all printing services for members.

3. A local parents newspaper is considering a request to offer a display ad discount to individual KIDabra members.

4. A local nostalgia restaurant manager is consulting corporate about allowing us to create a "Magic Nostalgia" corner complete with photos, posters and magic paraphernalia.

5. A local comedy club has offered a discount on show tickets and meals and use of their comedy room during down time.

6. Access to bulk wholesale pricing on magic & balloon supplies without the huge upfront costs through group orders.

Does anyone have any other creative suggestions that might be added to the list? It never hurts to ask! Anything goes!

Does anyone know what software I would use to create a podcast. I figure that if we video the educational portions of our chapter meetings and post them as downloadable podcasts, our absent members can keep current...and ANOTHER benefit to chapter members! Thanks!
