It's a very direct "cracked" and restored credit card. Borrowed card goes into envelope. Envelope is bent until you hear the crack of the card splitting. Finally you open the evenlope and pour out the uneffected card.

Anyone have any suggestions for framing the trick?

Here's a thought. You say to the spectator that some of the new credit cards come with what they call a "Flexible Payment Plan". You've found a way to see if a credit card can be paid that way based on how "flexible" the card is! "Here... let me show you what I mean"...

Take the card and flex it back and forth... it "cracks" and you say..

OOOPS... I guess your card isn't one of those... sorry! "Must be one of those you have to pay off every month"...

... then restore their card and take a bow...

Other ideas?
