Hello,

I heard that in the Magic Magazine of September 1996, there is a long article on how Harry Eng bottles are made! Even the deck in bottle with cellophane...

Does any one have this magazine? Is it well explained with detailed (or vague explanation) ?

Thanks a lot for any info!

I wouldn't say it's a "long" article, as it's only two pages, and if you removed the background pictures of Harry Eng's bottles, you could fit the entire article on one page.

It doesn't give step-by-step instructions, but it does describe some of the original tools he developed to be able to create these bottle. The most explicit description would be of the vise he created that can be disassembled, and then reassembled inside a bottle to unbend a coin.

I wouldn't worry about anyone reading the article and rushing out to make their own impossible bottles, though.

Thanks a lot Scott for your help !
It would be too good to be true to find a precise explaination Smile
There are already some articles on the net, so I don't think I'll find more in the magic mag.

Thanks !

It was a good article. The Scott is right, it doesn't go into detail.

Wouldn't this be great for a "Coin in Bottle" Routine... Now I only have to construct a vise like this... Smile

This one goes absolutely into detail. But it's not easy and quickly done...

I did my first one of Engs bottles as taught in AoA the other night, it took me about 4 hours in total and I learnt quite a lot and so I imagine my next wont take me nearly as long, the deck still has a slight buckle in it but its still quite impressive, I'll attach a photo tomorrow
