For Spanish readers, Paginas just released 2 new books from the Maestro Juan Tamariz available at http://www.librosdemagia.com/novedades.php

Who will post the first reviews?!

Los Cinco Puntos Magicos
formato: 16x24 cm.

Juan Tamariz - Gema Navarro

Magia para la radio

Formato: 16x24 cm.

Do you know if these will be printed in English at any time soon?? My wife is fluent in Spanish, and is also a magician so I could get them in Spanish. But then I would have to constantly be asking her to read me the next item. I would have to do a lot of dishes for this favor...

I,ve got the previous Five points in Magic in conference notes format, and introduce five aspects of the human body in order to build the appropiate misdirection (eyes, hands, body moves, ...) each point illustrated with a trick (such as poker demonstration, card in handkerchief, coins through table,..) In the finish pages, there is an important bibliograph about not only magic, but psicology, theater, .... I don't know if format book is updated, and I think there is a french version. In other post I,ll review a few more details.

Point 1: Look, eyes (Card in handckerchief + Force in spread)
Point 2: Voice (Book Test from Al Baker´s idea)
Point 3: Hands (Poker)
Points 4 and 5: Body and feet (Larry Jenning´s coin through the table)

I hope this help.

The 5 magic points (5 puntos magicos) is jut a new release of an old book from Tamariz where he basically explains the role of the whole body in misdirection, each part illustrated by a trick as Manos frias explained.

Verbimagia, is a totally new book. Any of you has a review to publish ?

Sonata is a must for card lovers. Interesting thoughts about the Tamariz perpendicular control, Faros and anti faros, and great tricks as the Hypnotical power of the Jokers (Tamariz version of Everywhere and nowhere), Total coincidence (one of the strongest effect you may have with 2 decks, etc...

Tamariz,s Verbimagia is a new book, and its origin is a radio program where Tamariz did tricks to the audience (such as phone tricks), and they are based in self-working principles (i.e.: take a card from the top to the bottom, count three more, display three rows...) but not only with cards, and it don't containes explanation, only the effect and pattern. Includes a CD with the radio programs.
I don´t own this book, but more information in Paginas (librosdemagia.com)

Five Points in Magic, as said, is the reprint in book format of conference notes (but could be updated, I don't know)

(P.S: Mike, I´ve received your wonderful book. I´´m Antonio, from Spain)
P.S.: Saludos en español, Mago Gregorio)
