I am looking for a device aside from the usual wand or blank gun to use in my Jumbo Sidekick.
I have been using the JS with a blank gun for my adult shows. For a change, I would like to use something else. It's about time I also try it with the remote and for my family shows. Is there any funny device I could use? Any ideas? Does it always have to be a wand or a gun? I am thinking of a toy laser or radar gun, or something with a weird sound.

I think the laser sound gun would be good with the kids. If you have the remote so you can trigger it yourself instead of sound activated.
I used to use a similar gun on my cut & restored rope routine. There are lots of noise making toy ray guns available. Maybe a "Star Wars" sword. The force is strong etc. You must train to be Jedi warrior. Richard

Lou - a series of things could add to what you are doing --- for instance --
First the small blank gun -- bad aim. Then a blank Rifle-- Then a small cannon --- (the kind that runs on carbide)

You could use a rubber chicken, and get them to aim it and say "bang". To make the chicken stiff (if you wish), put a dowel inside.
Or even do their finger / hand pointed like a gun, and get them to say "bang". - Donald
