I liked the movie but I did not like it as a Bond movie. The new guy does not care who gets hurt as long as he gets his man. British secret service has a lot of explaining to do.

I actually preferred Die Another Day (NOTHING can top the invisible car).
Casino Royale was good. I saw it in the theater. The ending is totally off the hook. |

Hi there,
I saw Casino Royale a while ago and it was fantastic! The opening credits were good and I really loved the music! The torture scene where James is naked made me cringe!!! The only thing was it seemed to go on for 30mins longer than it should. It should have ended before the whole betrayal bit at the end. Anyway, these are just my thoughts! If it's not EON, it's not a Bond film. I quite liked Casino Royale. Definitely brought across the gritty, hands-on Bond of the early Fleming books.
As for Holdem vs. Baccarat, at first it bugged me a little bit, but overall I think it's a minor change to keep it somewhat fresh and relevant for a contemporary audience.
