Hello to all my magic friends!
I am a magician currently living in Panama, so this is my only way to interact with those that love the magical arts. Although this is a beautiful and magical place, there are no magic shops or clubs that I know of in Panama. Anyway, I am working on a coin penetration routine where coins end up in a glass tumbler. I have read some posts on Infusion and Ross Bertram, however I was hoping that some of you would be willing to share any leads to some unique routines involving the penetration of coins into a glass tumbler. Thanks in advance! |

Hang in there magicbean, I heard that Houdini’s Magic shop will be opening in Panama Mall soon! All seriousness aside… David Roth has a wonderful coins across routine with a glass and John Carney also has a beautiful routine. I would take a look at those!

Thanks,I will look into that. Is Carney's routine published in Carneycopia?
I don't have a "copia" of Carneycopia in my collection. |

I believe that the effect Rich mentions is in both "Carneycopia" and "The Collected Almanac". "Soft Glass" Rich??

Actually I was thinking of Carney's Silver & Glass in his Secrets Vol. # DVD. I've seen him do the routine several times and it's just beautiful.

Med: I believe that Carney's effect is a coins across. Magicbean (who's real name is ElGran) is looking for effects where a coin or coins penetrate a drinking glass.
