Well I finally got hold of the needed items and have been busy practicing in front of the mirror. Going to try it out today and looking really forward to the reaction I know I'm going to get. LOVE LOVE LOVE Switchcraft! Elliott, you weren't understating how outstanding this effect is, it was WELL worth all those months of teasing us Smile Thank you!

Thank you so much, Paul. Regarding angles, using Millard’s original handling, allows you full control of one participant’s angle in relation to you. That said, especially for your first performance, I recommend the modified handling also included in the instructions. If you tilt your body a drop to the left, you will have a very good angle. Also, I winged the patter the first couple of times I performed the trick, but later came to the conclusion that Millard’s patter is very powerful, and should not be passed up. Finally, a week or so ago, I noticed that I forgot to mention one thing in the instructions; the index cards I use for the trick are white on both sides.

A board sounds like an interesting idea. I would be a little concerned about Switchcraft methods and routines being exposed to people who are not legitimate purchasers or owners, so there would need to be some sort of membership approval process. I have a complete and up to date mailing list, so that shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Regarding the other matter, duplicate sales don’t count, so please don’t buy Switchcraft more than once. There were two sales today, so there are only 8 more to go.

Incidentally, I’ve been using the new technique all day today, and it’s playing spectacularly.

Elliott -

A private membership board would make people buy for sure. It is easy to do something like Stuart Cumberland is doing and it can be setup in a matter of days.

- Think about it - videos of performances, being able to openly talk about it, etc.

Elliot - I'd love to help with the site. Membership plugins for WP are easy to install, and free.

Thank you Rowdymagi5,

I hope you find some techniques and routines you like.

If not, Secrets of the Masters Volume 3 is very much in progress (I've given up on selling the 10 books, and am just proceeding with the supplements as usual.)

Thanks again,

Elliott

Thanks Nathan and Tim.

I am not particularly tech savvy. How does one go about creating a board?

Elliott, consult with Tony Blake. He's the master of that technology.

Elliott, the best way to create a board is to take a piece of lumber, saw it down to the size you want (example: 3' x 4'), then sand it to a smoothness.

But it's quicker to just buy the boards in the sizes you want.

Thanks Gabor, Bartelli, Pete, Daylite, Landmark and Dynamike.

I really appreciate your posts.

It’s been a crazy couple of days (I’m starting to think “13” really is unlucky,) but I am finally formally announcing, “Playing with Blocks,” the supplement that was released yesterday.

As usual, a bunch of emails bounced back. Most of you look like you got it OK, though. If not, please feel free to contact me.

For the record, the Switchcraft file available on my site now includes:

Switchcraft
The Billet Machine
Billet Proof
Silver Billet
Back from the Dead
Stack Master
CT's Switch
Q 4 U 2
The Zombie Chicken Read
Alexander Marsh’s Tel.
Ken Krenzel’s Psychologia
Secrets of the Masters Volume One
Secrets of the Masters Volume Two
Playing with Blocks

Thanks again,

Elliott

Today has been a good day for future supplements.

I came up with something, and tested it a few times. So far, it is playing rather well.

I also got permission to include a technique briefly referenced, but not taught, in Secrets of the Masters Volume Two.

Finally, a cool idea was sent my way.

Good times ahead!
