I help teach a laughter class through Hospice for people with terminal illness. I can bring my laptop and hook it up to a projector so we can all see it and have a good laugh.

I am hoping to compile a collection of funny videos with the help of the Café Folks. I'm looking for all kinds of funny and/or amazing videos since we discuss the similarities between laughter as a response to surprise, embarrassment, amazement etc.

Any links to some of your favorite videos would be most appreciated. Thanks.

The entire "Amazing Jonathan" special from comedy central is available on youtube. It may be too raunchy and violent for kids, but I don't care Smile

Thanks, These are adults and the first week we talk about taboo and inappropriate humor. Most are not easily offended and those that are, are encouraged to speak up. I try to stay away from overtly racsist or sexist jokes but even those are sometimes used as examples of hurtful jokes.

Sometimes rascist and sexist jokes can be funny if they are way over the top (such as Jonathan's mindreading assistant and the scissors). They can even be enlightening. I think Archie Bunker did more to increase awareness of civil and women's rights than Jesse Jackson and Gloria Allred combined (that's not a pretty picture!).

I am not easily offended and can put things in perspective so any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks again.

Don't know if this is the type of magical comedy you're looking for, but I'm rather proud of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGuWRlPPdGY

I can mail you a DVD of it if you like. Smile

Thanks. I like the ending. You put a lot of work into that.

I should be able to show youtube videos.

Also, I'm not just looking for magical comedy but anything funny.

Thank again.

Why bother with comedy magic. There's going to be more straight forward comedy available I would have thought. (Probably funnier too) Smile

Dear CW,

Below is a link to our stage show page. Once on the page, click on the video clip to see Max steal a volunteer's watch.

http://www.maxmagician.com/en/Max-stage.htm

I have a great respect for the work you do and the people you serve.

I plan to eventually offer my interactive comedy/magic to lighten the load of hospice residents and their families.

I also plan to one day offer a humor workshop to non-profit groups of professional staff.

I would be honoured for you to share this video clip with your hospice group and hope that it encourages some genuine and spontaneous chuckles.

Pleaselet me know if it helps.

Sincerely,

Jonathan
