Is this in print somewhere other than Art of Astonishment?

I'm pretty sure it was published as a stand alone item in one of the "New Stars of Magic" series. I thought I also had it as an old Chuck Martinez pamphlet, but I may be mistaking that for a different item.

Yes, it was published as part of the "New Stars of Magic" in the early eighties. Tannen's had it, last I checked. But remember, Immaculate Connection followed Cardboard Connection.

That routine cramps up both my hands. heh

It was a Chuck Martinez "stand-alone" pamphlet/booklet. Still have it, unless it's the one the dog (bless his soul) chewed on.

I think that's "Cardboard Connection". The "Immaculate Connection" was definitely a Tannen's "New Stars of Magic" manuscript. IMO, this is one of the best (non-gaffed) card tricks ever invented, which incidentally was inspired by an idea by Jay Sankey.

For those that like IC, try to find Terri Rogers' "Boromian Link". There's only a couple differences (that I won't say here), but they're major improvements in my opinion.

Get his earlier video. It's a great help watching him do the effect and showing the correct handling.
