Mr. Farmer is a clever fellow. He'd described the effect a few months back. I'm glad that he's finally planning to release this. Frankly, the conditions does sound too good to be true Smile.

Mr. Farmer wrote me that it will cost approximatly 50 USD and we should look
at the ads in the Genii magazine. I think he will release it soon.
I hope so!

Anything Mr. Farmer comes up with is bound to be worth consideration; the guy is just unbelievably clever.

I have performed "Deja Voodoo", his dictionary trick. for quite a few years, well worth the considerable trouble to prepare and carry around a small hardcover dictionary. I just say I carry it in case of "linguistic difficulties".

Are there unmentioned condtions to his CAAN? Almost certainly; it's not real magic. Do those conditions have any importance to the audience? Are they even remembered? I would bet the "Farm" not.

At first glance, this sounds impossible, and if anybody other than Bob Farmer were putting it out, I would wait until the reviews came in. I wouldnt be very enthused at all, but....with Bob Farmers name on it, count me in as a customer as soon as it is released!

Like Bonnie Raitt said, "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being 8 years old." Long live Lowell and Richie!

According to Richard Kaufman's Blog on the Genii Forum. Bob is giving him a version of the Berglas Effect (Any Card at Any Number) that is going to be in the March or April issue of Genii. Don't know if it is the same method.

I heard something was going to advertised... not given away. But what the heck, perhaps Christmas will come early this year.

According to Bob, the one that will be in Genii is another method - good, but not as earth-shaking as the Bammo Deckromonicon.

The version that will appear in Genii is not the Bammo Dekronomicon -- it's another version that I'm sure you'll all like. It has a lot of new ideas that can be used for many other effects that have nothing to do with ACAAN. It is a heavily-gaffed deck that you can easily make at home in about 3 hours. It would have been incredibly expensive to manufacture and sell, so I decided to give it away for free (well, almost free -- you'll have to buy the magazine).

This version has an interesting feature: the effect is performed twice, the second performance being even more impossible than the first.

I'm not sure when it will appear -- better subscribe to the magazine so you don;t miss it.

Hello Mr Farmer
Can you give us any update on your Bammo Dekronomican version?
Thanks

I'm putting together the elements I need to market the Bammo Dekronomicon. I'll post a note here when I have a date for availability.

In the meantime, the alternative method will be published in Genii. I have circulated this among my usual group if advisors, and it has garnered a lot of interest and support. So, better renew that Genii subscription. This is a very cool version, but if it was to be sold, it would have been very, very expensive because of all of the labor required (but you can make it yourself at home in about three hours).
