Whats up Café,
Can regular appearing candles be lit? Or does one have to purchase the "Lit Appearing Candles" to be able to light them. I don't really want to produce the candles lit, I just want to produce them and then light them later for another effect. Thanks Peacefully, A N T I N O + President of The House of Flying Cards magician troupe + + http://www.freewebs.com/hofc |

You can purchase the regular candle and you will be able to light it. Both candles have the same fluid chamber, the appearing lit candle just gives you a method of secretly lighting the candle before the production. Have fun with them.

By the way....if you havent used the lighter fluids much in the past be careful of spills from over-filling and such. The residue can and will ignite. You just havent lived until youve had burning fluid running down your hand. A little goes a long way.
"What's your drug?" she asked. "Hope" he said, "The most addicting one of all."

On the other hand if it is hot on stage under the lights etc, your chamber can be filled but the wick can be dry. To prevent this, I always take a thimble that has some cotton in it. I can then squirt some lighter fluid on the cotton inside the thimble. Then the thimble can go over top of my wick to keep it moist making lighting much easier.
