Brett, continuing to post stuff just to see the reactions you get will soon garner you a reputation you might prefer not to have.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Well I guess that is what I was trying to say. Maybe I should have said it nicer as the rest of you did. My angry lecture only resulted in an angry defence. In the spirit of the holidays and good will.. enjoy this funny lesson on how silly we look when we let our tempers get the best of us. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7422706314303580531

Chessman and Skip,
As stated before in this thread I never have done this before. It was a one time only sort of thing...a social experiment if you will. It was a sham...get over it. If you are still upset by it, I recomend counciling. Thanks, Brett.

Personally, I'm not upset in the least. Not at all. I simply take your posts less seriously than I did before. No problem here.

So why are you trying to stir up a fight between fellow magicians for your own amusement? As far as Steve doing it, doesn't he run this site and pretty much have the right to say and do anything on here? Here I posted the rule since you obviously didn't care to read them. Religion or Politics: Though we do have an area for discussing subjects other than magic, the discussing of Religion (other then a real application as it relates to a magical effect Example: Gospel Magic) is strictly Prohibited. The subject is simply too subjective, and more often then not leads to emotional responses and a lot of hurt feelings and/or resentment. Because the Café has a worldwide membership, Politics is another area that is best not tackled here. We are, after all, a magic website. The non-magic area is there for the discussion of lighter subjects, such as movies, best selling novels, etc. Postings that do not comply will be removed with no reason given. No exceptions"

I dunno I enjoyed the debate actually.Im just happy Brett was not expressing his true opinions on his original post..He would of gotten a good shin kicking.Im certainly not going to look negatively on him because of this.A social experiment but as Im sure he knows its always best to post your true feelings on such things
Hope you all had a good Christmas! |

Being defensive and immature are two(2)different things.
The "advice" I was offered was done so in a sarcastic manner, or at least I felt like it was. Speaking of advice, thanks for the spell check idea. Brett.

Since it's Steve's board, he can pretty much promote whatever holiday he likes. As far as I know we have no establishment clause that guarantees separation of Church and Steve.

Good grief. Is this still going on? Seems to lend credence to the experiment after all. By the way, I seem to have read somewhere and to paraphrase...Let he who is without such and such cast the first this and that...or when an appology is given...about 300 posts ago..."Take it or leave it but don't beat it."
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a happy New Year ahead. Life is good and carrots are devine! You get a dozen for a dime! It's maaaagic.

Thanks Doug,
My wife and I had a very good Christmas. We're looking forward to the most important Christian festival now. Till then, happy Easter.

But, you know, not everyone celebrates in accordance with the Gregorian calendar. What about those who follow the Julian or Solar calendars? :)

Happy Easter indeed! The poor guy just got born and the resurection is on the horizon already! But in all deep seriousness Easter is a great time for me to forget about the weight and devour CHOCOLATE! Still a kid after all these years.
:) Are there Chocolate Bunnies in the UK? If not, I'll cancel the trip I was always going to take. Julian, Solar Chinese (February) what ever! A year is a year. I prefer Chinese new years my self. We get to se the Lion Dancers at the restaurant. Woo hoo!
