Hello Everyone,
Im using Rubber Cement to do some tricks, but I'm not happy with than because evertime I use it is shining and it is possible to anyone see a fibre on than. Can anyone give me hint for this problem. But I saw some magician using Rubber Cement with same tricks I pretend to do and nothing wrong happen. Any hint please. Thank for you attetion |

Mago, your post is sort of vague. What are you using the rubber cement for?

Use less. It's shiny because you have a lot and it doesn't have time to dry enough to dull out. A thin coat will still be really tacky, but not glossy...as you are experiencing.

Too bad I have no idea how or what rubber cement looks like. Living in Malaysia can be problem sometimes.

Sometimes, baby powder can dry the top layer very quickly.

Jim Steinmeyer, in discussing Clippo, suggested using corn starch instead of baby powder. It does work well in that context and avoids the baby powder smell. Perhaps it would work in this application, too.

You can get unscented talc at the drug store (Baby powder is just talc with perfume and a brand name). It works best, I think.
