Hi all,
I have just ordered Quadro Vicious Circles and have been looking for online videos of it being preformed. If anyone has a link to a clip please post it here, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ste |

Hi Ste,
If I was you I'd wait until you've got the props in your hand and read the handling instructions 1st. By playing around with the effect yourself 1st you might find that you come up with stuff that more closely suits your personality. Not having seen anyone else perform it 1st means that you come to the prop with an open mind as to what you might be able to do with it. If you see someone else working this prop it might steer you in a direction that leads you away from what might be best for you. So give yourself a little time with the effect. I have this and came up with the funniest moment, by my reckoning at least, with an original bit where the ring gets 'hooked' in my hair and it ends up dangling from my head. I might not have come up with that bit if I'd gone straight for a routine. Have fun with it. Neal

The best part of this effect is the "situations" that you can get into while performing it. Caught on your coat/clothes, hands, hair..all those are situationally hilarious sight gags. The magic part is almost secondary to the visual comedy in this routine. Even more so with this prop than with the Caveney "Linking Coathangers". Things you can't get away with using regular, boring linking rings.

I own this, and I HAD it filmed, but I lost the tape!
anyhoo may I suggest that you just go out and but some good strong magnets and plant them all over your body/clothing it seemed to me that the more places you got stuck the funnier the trick became. I played it as "carefully" as possibly. try getting it stuck in your... happy place? overall great trick -steve |

Thanks all,
I am now going to wait until I have got the props in my hand and they try to come up with an ORIGINAL routine. These seem like great props which will go down very well in my comedy shows. Thanks again, Ste. |
