I got in a discussion with one of my friends on what was the best magic DVDs of 2006. We came to the conclusion that 2006 wasn't a great year in terms of GREAT DVDs. What do you think about the subject? What were your favorite DVDs of 2006?

Heres a couple I tought of:

1) Simon Aronson's serie - SESSIONS WITH SIMON -
2) Max Maven - NOTHING -
3) David Stone

Larry Davidson's "Scripted Insanity" DVD's in my opinion are the best DVD's out this year. There is so much useable and practical material as well as excellent professional advice that I believe they would benefit everyone.

My top three would be:
Another vote for Larry Davidson's Scripted Insanity .
deck, lies, and videotape by Brent Braun
My Best by John Mendozoa

All three DVDs have practical effects for different skill levels and are just plain fun to watch IMHO.

There were so many good ones this year (we are lucky)
My favorites were:

Simon Aronsons Sessions with Simon
Nothing by Max Maven
Scripted Insanity by Larry Davidson

Excellent teaching in all three!

I bought 12 dvds in 2006. Some one trick dvds, some multiple trick dvds. Even though it only contains one trick, I'd give the nod to Prohibition

Dan Tong's, hands down.
