I just came back form singapore, where I purchased 8 packs of bees. after comming back to australia and opening them, I am not sure if they are genuine.... the first pack I have opened, are NOT smooth at all, and are "tapered." ie, on the long sides of the deck, one side is cut a fraction of a mm shorter than the other. This means that when you place one card in the opposite direction, it can bee seen easily, and removed etc...
this is my first pack of bee cards purchased, I would like to know, if they are counterfeit or just a bad quality individual deck. The box looks quite realistic.. The front says: No 92 Club Special, Bee, Playing Cards standard The back, it has a green sticker with a diamond in the middle. it says: "Bee" Insist on the Original Genuine Bee Distributed by Connell Bros. Co. Ltd. Made in USA on the right side, it says Diamond Back Club Special On the Left side, it says: THE U.S PLAYING CARD CO. CINCINATTI, OHIO 45212 The whole box is printed in blue, and has no red writing on it at all. Also, included in the box, are 1 normal bee joker, 1 guarantee joker.. a "premium quality" card, and a 2005 calander. I hope these are not fake, however if they are.. is any1 is intrested in buying/swapping for some real bees or bikes? |

I've been told those are real and that "Club Special" is the cheap version of Bees. However, I have doubts that they are legit.
These cards look identical to Bees. However, the finish is comparable to dollar store cards and the smell is horrible (at least the few decks I had). |

The Club Special Bees are the standard Bee playing cards that we find in drug stores or that you get when you order Bee brand from USPCCo.
The normal Bee brand cards are #92

As far as know they may may be the quality they do for the Casinos. They play just one time and throw the deck away. However, I have seen many counterfreit playing cards printed locally. Do not think about it too much. If you can use them use. If not use them for the effects which require tearing playing cards.
