Can I get a show of hands from people who do a bill to lemon and then prove its the same one by having someone check a serial number vs those who do the signed bill to lemon?

I imagine that the signed bill plays better for magicians, but honestly would it make that much difference to a completely lay audience?

I like the signature the best. It takes longer to write down the serial number. Imagine if someone wrote down a wrong numberal in the serial number. The audience will think it's the wrong bill. And the signature makes it more colorful.

No doubt about it. I think the bill must be signed to reach the "miracle "status.

I have been doing my own version of this trick but there are times when it is kind of weak (meaning it's fairly easy for the spec to catch whats happening )-- so where can I find a good 'signed bill to lemon' ? and which version is the best ? Smile

I purchased "The Lemon Game".

Signed is much better because the whole audience (depending on size) can see that the bill has been boldly signed accross it.

The Lemon Game is high impact, high fun. It's great as a stand-up routine regardless of size. It's too big for close up but I've done it at a birthday party and it was great.

See Steve Brooks' review of the product here.

It's not cheap, however.

For more of a close-up version, see bill Malone's version on his #2 video.

Signed is awesome. I want the Lemon Game eventually. I used to tear the bill in half and compare serial numbers and tears. That took to long and cut the momentum of the effect short. It ended up being less of a reaction than it should have been.

Lemon Game all the way Baby! LOL. I also use Fruit Cup by John Carney which is a bill tear.

And Ben and I agreed that he's not to perform the lemon game north of San Luis Obispo and I won't perform it south of San Luis Obispo.

Right ben?
