Hi guys.

I need to find 2 things and I don't know what they are called or where to find them...

1. The overlay REC screen (as if you were watching someone film with their camcorder)

2. The countdown numbers with the circle before a film.

I use iMovie and want to use these in my movies.

I don't think the standard iMovie software has those video effects.

I used Windows Movie Maker a while ago and I remember Microsoft occasionally offered free expansion packs for its various softwares (including Windows Movie Maker). The various expansion packs would have special new effects or editing capabilities that were automatically added to the current selection.

You could check the download section on http://www.apple.com and see if they have anything for free. If not, you may be able to find a website that you can download video effects from. If you have no luck there consider purchasing Final Cut Pro (or some other video editing software).

P.S. If you can hold out for Leopard, the new version of iMovie may have more video effects.
