This was brought up at a monthly 'session' that a few of us have and there was no consensus on the ethics of it. Would like to know everyones thought on it.
A lot of places sell Invisible Decks that they made and one can find sites where one can make your own. Has the ID entered that blurry public domain area where doing so is ethical? M&S |

Are you talking about Don Alan's routine or the Ultra-Mental deck?

I guess over time the patter/routine with the UM deck was so popular and everyone started doing it - it got dubbed the invisible deck.... I have my own patter and effect where the deck is used as a thought insertion device and action controller of a spec... so I don't call it the ID... although through time ID and UM have become synonymous.
In fact, I don't think the UM is sold as a UM anymore but as IDs.... at least with a light search I just did. Go figure.
