I don't think they are to be commended for anything. This has happened to Precision Magic before and Mann swore he woulnd't sell knock-offs anymore. Guess that promise did not last long. They seem willing to pull products only AFTER someone calls them on it. Reminds me of the old saying, "it's only cheating if you get caught."

What about his liquid card/ gamblers touch.....ethics....must be waiting for others to contact them as Justin and Aaron did. Shame you have to police your own stuff in this art

Liquid was not a Ripoff of KAOS at all. Liquid may of looked the same performance wise but method wise it is very different.

Wo-wo-wo! I own Kaos and I helped Taylor develope Liquid...they are NO WERE NEAR CLOSE in comparison. You think that because E made a card through window effect, they own all other forms! NO WAY! This card through window is like NOTHING else you have seen. You think Kaos is awsome...Kaos can kiss this effects behind for all I care.

This just tweaks me. You can garentee to see Liquid on the market after this is cleared up.

The CHAIN SAW effect that was mistakenly put up as a SEAN FIELDS effect was ment to be used WITH sean field's SAW. It is now on the site as Choker through neck.

As for MENTAL FUSION. The gimmick used in Mental Fusion has NEVER been seen on the market before. The routine given is only the beginning. The true power is in that sealed Deck. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. I don't know about Believe! and I will be checking it out, but I am sure that the effect DOES NOT use the gimmick from Mental Fusion.

If you guys really have issues...talk to Dave about it on the site. All the effects are thought and the fact that you all can bash them against a way and call them copies...please. *sigh*

I don't know what more to say.

I would like to thank all of the great supporters of mental fusion. However, I regret to announce that mental fusion has been taking off the market. Especialy after the bashing of myself and precision magic. It was never my intention or precision magic's to copy or steal anyones idea or method. All who have puchased it, are shippied as of tuesday.

With all that said and done, I would like everyones oppinion on how Believe and Metal fusion are the same effects or methods?

P.S. I would like to thank everyone in advance for your patience and help.

Thanks,
Jeremy Moncrief

Here is some help....do market research before releasing an effect and/or find a dealer that will help you with this.
As far as bashing....Now that Mental fusion is off the market, notice the believe thread was deleted also. So, in order to actually compare, a new thread will have to be started.

From what I heard in a private talk, Mental Fusion is not the same as Believe. Has anyone who actually owns BOTH found that the 2 are so similar that they can't co-exist? After all, look how many Bill to Lemon or assorted fruit effects we have just to name one.

I'm just wondering if it is proven to be the same trick or if people are just jumping to conclusions. I don't know anything about Jeremy's track record, but I know that certain Café members have a track record of mob lynching before all the facts are verified.

Well part of it seems to me that the stuff that precision is putting out comes just after it's counter part. maybe that's only a perception

Then why would a stand up guy like Justin miller do what he did. Funny, after just a phone call from him that this item was pulled. I see this thread getting moved now that it is no longer sold.

Ok let me clear this up.

Mental fusion's method is not EXACTLY the same..however, Jeremy admitted to Myself and Aaron Delong in a conferance call yesterday morning that his inspiration for the effect came straight from believe. we have no problem with him putting out something that has been inspired from something else. The problem occured when Jermey and Precision magic claimed owner ship. Myself nor Aarron was called to ask permission to use certain aspects of the effect that IS THE MAKE UP OF BELEIVE. This is more of an ethics problem than anything else.
in both effects...

1. A freely selected card
2. A freely selected word
3. end up in an impossible location

The method here (and some parts of it are the same) is not what is important, it is the brotherhood of respect, and honor. Jeremy should have gotten a hold of aaron or myself to get permission to use some of what was INSPIRED to create Mental Fusion. Before Aaron put out out BELIEVE he contacted Paul Harris, he did his research to see what has been done and what has not been done. In the manuscript and the video he credits those who SHOULD be credited. it would not have been a problem if they were just using it in their own private shows, but when they decided to make a buck off of it that is where the problem comes in. Aaron hand made each set by himself. I pushed these at all my lectures. A lot of work and dedication went into getting this out there to you guys and to have someone side-step your lively hood is not going to happen at least to me. I do this for a living that is ALL I DO. I create magic, lecture, write, and perform. bottom line..they should of asked permission and then gave credit. They did not so I politely called them on it. I spent over three hours on the phone fixing this yesterday. I did not make a dime off of this, it is the principle of the matter.
They complied and showed us (I can only speak of how they handled the situation with us) great respect and honor. now what will happen with gamblers touch and liquid is anybody's guess...but I did tell them how I felt about ALL 3 effects.

After my conversations with Aaron Delong, he concluded that mental fusion and believe can co-exist. So precisionmagic.com now is offering this item for sale. And will be avaliable in your local magic shop very soon. Hope you enjoy this effect.
thanks,
