Hello...
I am a female magician.
I am 35 and have been doing magic since I was 9.
I don't mind giving my age, because I don't look it.
Any way...
Don't count me out because I am female.

Why would we count you out? There are many female magicians much better than males!

Hi Randi - Welcome to the café !
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

No need to count you out just because you are a female; we'll just count you in because you're a magician.

Thanks everyone.
Just unfortunately not all will have the same attitude.
But that's ok.... we know what kind of people they are.

I hope to do some posting.
As I am trying to get a trick out on the market soon.

thanks

Randi,

Welcome aboard!

Women magicians are certainly welcome here. I'm married to one!

And age! Lucy's 30th anniversary of her 35th birthday was not this year!

Welcome Randi,

female magicians are more than welcome . . . as they tend to look at things in a very different, yet refreshing way.

I am looking forward to your contributions and inputs

Even after nearly half a century of performing magic, I still wonder why girls and women aren't more attracted to the world of magic. Is it differences in male/female psychologies? Or does the long-standing predominance of men in the magic field deter women from becoming more involved?

In any case, it's great to see females (of any age and regardless of how they think they look!) join and contribute to the magic arts.

Best of luck to you. And of course we're all curious to hear about your new product when it's ready.

Hi there,

Welcome to the Magic Café!

I truly respect female magicians as I feel they are often much better and harder working than other male magicians!

Hope to see you around!

Many thanks
