Dear All,
Do you recall Tom Craven's excellent little book, The 16th Card Book ? It included magic by Harry Lorayne, Phil Goldstein, Roy Walton, Nick Trost, Karl Fulves and more! The magic was based on Alex Elmsley's 16th Card Principle from Ibidem . Anyway.... Tom Craven & I are producing a NEW edition (25 years later than the 1st edit.) with NEW material (plus the old material, updated) from the likes of Marty Kane and Justin Higham . Other TOP cardmen have shown interest, too. If YOU have any 16th Card type effects, please let me know at Also - if you want updates on the publication of said book, email me for info. Received some OUTSTANDING new material from Marty Kane, Justin Higham and J. K. Hartman so far. Others who are "on the case" include Jon Racherbaumer & Simon Aronson. Thanks each.... Thanks for reading... Paul Gordon |

Well, we had over 80 contributions. Most truly excellent. But, as format of book (and budget)won't allow for more than 110 pages, we have called a 'stop' on it. Could only fit 50 ish tricks.(Maybe a vol. 2...?) The contributors who tricks won't make the book do know and are happy to wait...
Anyway, sincere thanks to all. There is a 2nd Book on th 16th Card Principle available at Lybrary.com $15.
Could someone explain what types of effects the Principle permits? Or cite references? Thanks

The review is pretty spot on. My favorites out of the book were Cut N Count Double, Spelldownned and Melbourne. These are very strong effects but patter is very important to make these interesting.
