The sound aspect!
How about the sound in RNT Cups metal structure? Some Cups sound like metal tanks...some sound like fine clocks when you knock them against the table or another cup.

Hey Jake, these are some great looking cups. Will the Squatty's take a lacrosse ball?
And do you have any more pictures of them? I would like to see what they look like when they are stacked.

OK, so these cups are EXACTLY the same as the originals, other than the satin finish?

No, they are made of a thinner gauge of metal.

Thinner metal costs less. If handled by an experienced spinner, it can also be easier to spin.

I ordered one of each set as soon as the notice came out. When I get them, I will give the cups a complete review.

Thanks, Bill. What do you mean "one of each set"? One copper and one brass?

These will take a lacrosse ball with some room to spare. Currently, the only photos we have are already online.

This is the greatest thing to happen to Cups & Balls since the last time Jake came out with a run of quality cups...society in general has no idea of the ramifications of such a wondrous happening and event!

There will be a few oddly giddy individuals throughout this wide world whistling happy tunes once they receive QUALITY cups at a decent price.

Long Live R-N-Ts 2!!!!!!!!

Correction - the Squatty's will not take a lacrosse ball, it's the Sisti's. My apologies for any confusion.

Cory:

I take it you have not visited the web site. Some are available in copper, some are available in brass. Each type is listed separately.

I ordered one set of classic cups in copper.

I ordered one set of JesMagic Squatty cups in copper.

I ordered one set of JesMagic Squatty cups in brass.

I ordered one set of Sisti cups in brass.

I ordered one set of Sisti cups in copper.

I ordered one set of Monti cups in copper.

Each of these sets is a separate listing on that page.

No, I retired from the circuit in 2000. I still do shows, but not in the mud.

Just a tiny question about the Squatty cups. When I compare the photos of the entry level cups with the normal cups, it seems to me that the beads of the entry cups are smaller (shallow) than the normal cups. Will this have any effect on the stacking of the cups? Or am I mistaken?

Yeah, I noticed that too.

Bill, yes, I did look at the site, but I didn't know if you meant copper and brass, or two different sets of cups. But apparently you bought out the whole store!
You're a crazy man! Smile

This is actually an illusion. After polishing, the beads reflect each other giving the actual look of depth; the unpolished does the complete opposite. These are spun with the same chucks and the same rollers used to put the beads in.

Jake,

I am very excited about your new line. Thank you and congratulations. I'm going on vacation in April. Once that’s out of the way, I will be getting some of your products. In this new line of products, is there any plans for a line of street cups? To be honest, that is what I would really like to have.

Sincerely,

Tony Torres

Shawn,

Thank you for the link. I just took a look, and that is indeed a beautiful set of cups. I was hoping that Jake would be including a set of streets cups in his economy line. With that said, if I had the cash readily available, I would purchase the cups you showed me in a heartbeat.

Thank you Shawn,

Tony

The SBL Tall Traditionals are great for street work. At 150.00, you won't find a set of cups this sturdy for street work for such a low price. I'm sure Bill will be reviewing these, too, as he snatched up a set on eBay I had listed last week.
Thanks, Bill. Smile
