I bought a set of the new SBL Tall Traditional cups from Jake, via eBay, last week as well. Really looking forward to getting them. Ireland cups on steroids? Either way, I sure they're great cups!

Fortasse,
Just sorting through my emails, and indeed, you did also! Thank you, and we're starting all the shipping of the new line on Monday. Best Jake

Thanks, Todd. I think they're a set of Loftus cups.

Those copper cups from eBay are Loftus cups. These are basically the type of cup that Conus used, only a bit smaller.
If you got those large aluminum cups, I think they are by Ickle Pickle.

I won the large aluminum cups. Steve made these for a short time but caught some slack from the P&L owner, according to the rumor mill, and stopped making them. I have his mini set, which are actually about the height of Monti cups, so they're really more mid size.

I'm kind of surprised Steve would back down on these. They are closer to a Brema cup than anything P&L ever made.
The rarest of the IP cups, I think, is the LeJumbo. There were only about a dozen sets.

We have already updated with about 6 new products in the Main Stream line this week, with more being added next week as we complete the runs. Thanks for your interest. Jake

In addition to the new entry level....
February 10th, 2007 RNT II/SBL Magic, Inc. Announces Original Rings N Things Acquisition RNT II/SBL Magic, Inc. is proud to announce that in agreement and special arrangements with Christopher Reeseman of Encore Magic, Inc. that the original Rings N Things Line of Magic has now been acquired by RNT II/SBL Magic, Inc. We have obtained the tooling, routines, and rights to manufacture the original Rings N Things line, which will go into full production in the Spring of 2007. Encore Magic feels confident that RNT II Magic is capable of maintaining and increasing the quality of the original Rings N Things Line of Magic from the early '70s and '80s. Those who missed out in the early '70s and '80s will now have a chance to obtain some of the Rings N Things line that they missed at affordable prices. While we are keeping in mind the collectors’ value of the original pieces made in the '70s and '80s, RNT II Magic will be adding special hallmarks and making subtle but needed changes to most pieces so that they are not confused with the older collectibles that collectors have come to cherish. All items will be made from the original Rings N Things tooling from the '70s and '80s. And again, we will maintain the highest quality level, as we do with the RNT II/SBL line of magic and other products we manufacture. Email newsletters will be sent to our email subscribers as the Rings N Things line is released.
