I was going through some old memorabilia and I found a program from a show called "Night Magic" that I saw in the 80's at the Reno Hilton (NV - USA). It starred a yourng man named Richard Tutako. I've tried google and can't find anything about him. The show was very large in scale and he had a lot of beautiful illusions. He seems to have 'vanished' !!! Does anuone know where he is or what he is doing ???

Richard Tutako passed away quite some time ago. Steve Zigmont of Zigmont F/X was in charge of all the illusions in the show if you have questions.

I have an old VHS video of that show, for the time it was pretty elaborate and quite the big produciton. If I'm not mistaken Rich came up with many popular illusions that top pros use today like walking on the lazer, parrot to girl cage, and several others.
Rich was from Chicago and I remember hearing stories about the show when I lived there...one funny one was that they created and had built this tank of water similar to crystal casket where a girl changed into a shark. So they get this tank of water illusion built and even an animatronic shark that's fin "wagged" and moved and whatnot. Only to find out as they're rehersing it that sharks have to keep moving to stay alive and they had to scrap the whole concept.
