Hi my name is Paul, I am a new magician, been pracicing for about 4-5 months, mainly using videos from Ellusionist.

I just got hold of Erdnase, and I'm struggling to understand some of the directions, mainly I have worked on dealing from the bottom, but the directions are hard to visualize.

I have also become intrested in color changes, I know the basic slide change (not sure of actual name), and the flash change. but I'm interested in changes away from the deck. any suggestions?

Welcome to the Café, Paul. Erdnase isn't always the easiest to follow, but then easy isn't always the best. Good luck to you.

Hi there,

Welcome to the Magic Café! If you want to learn some cool colour changes, get the Showoff with Cards DVD or the Jeff McBride Art of Card Manipulation set of DVDs.

The Showoff DVD isn't great, but it shows you the stuff and how to do it which is the important bit.

The Jeff McBride DVDs are very good, but not as cheap - its your choice!

Hope to see you around!

Many thanks
