Shifts, Hops, and Magic Passes includes an array of moves “That’ll get the money!” Moves such as the Turner Shift, Laying a Brief, Turner Half Pass, Turner Cover Shift, Cover Shift to Bottom, Bottom Palm to Top Hand, Deck Switch, Color Change, Side Grip Dive Shift, One Hand Dive Shift, Top Grip Dive Shift, One Hand Hop, Cover Hop, Delayed Hop, the Charlie Miller Shift, Mistake Shift, a Two Hand Shift, the Dump Shift, the Casino Slip cut, Casino Bottom Cut, a Scrape Cut, and the notable Turner Cut Card Shift.

Looks like a great DVD to get.

I have The Cheat and Best of the Bottoms and now I just ordered this one. I hope it's good. I am sure I will find something new to use in my repertoire and then the money was worth it. I'll try to remember to give you guys a review as soon as possible.

Thanks. Turner is one very best and this should be good.

You ain't lying.

It does look pretty good. This apperas to be more of an instructional DVD (as compared to The Cheat) is that correct?

He must be selling a bunch of them. It became available on Feb 15th, I ordered on the 16th, and it's on back-order already.

First come first serverd I guess. I'm surprised you haven't gotten yours if you pre ordered. Although, if you haven't been notified that it's on back order, yours may be in the mail as we speak. Let us know how you like it.

That's probably because of International shipping.

I go the DVD today. I'll check it out in today or tommorow.

Note; They offered a deck of cards with the DVD, but no cards were included in the package. So if you are counting on getting those playing cards, I'd note that when you place the order.

I checked out a good chunk of the DVD. It's not too bad, pretty good actually. I didn't see anything really new, but Richards explanations are very well done. The teaching looks like it's top notch. You can definately learn from the instruction. Several types of shifts and hops are taught, along with extensive teaching and various handlings for the "Turner" one handed shift. Production values are very good, every thing is clear and shot from multiple angles. I've heard some not so good things about his other instructional DVD's, but this one is plenty fine.

Sounds great vandy. As I am rather new to magic/cheating, perhaps I will find a couple of new things anyway. Glad to hear the DVD is good! A shame the deck did not arrive though, was really looking forward to it.

Hopefully you'll get your deck. I don't really like the design of the cards, but I was looking foward to seeing if the "traditional cut" made any difference.

I think you'll like the DVD, it's nice to have Richard teaching the moves, rather than just an expose like "The Cheat".

I read somewhere that some people didn't like the card flourish tape or "Best of the Bottoms", I haven't seen those. But I don't see how anyone couldn't learn from this DVD and there are some good moves on there. Maybe this material is just easier to teach? Anyway, I think you'll like it Kim.

I quite like Best of the Bottoms, myself. I could have done without the life story, but I understand how it fits in. As for the moves and the teaching, they're not bad at all, and of course light-years ahead of what I can do at the moment. The glass table use to film the moves from below was a very neat touch.

I have the Cheat and Best of the Bottoms so far. I loved the cheat, I think you can learn from all of it with a minor problem here or there. Best of the bottoms is good but I don't know if I learnt anything new about bottoms though. was interesting too watch at least.

yeah I am curious about the cut as well, that is why I want the deck. Practising the table faro at the moment so very curious actually.

I hope the DVD and deck arrives very soon.

Hey guys....We all need to be honest here. I admit to buying this latest DVD and could not be more disappointed. I am always skeptical when I see the words "moves that will get you the money" and should have known better. You can see everything on this dvd. When a discussion takes place with the "inside magic guys" or people who actually know Richard Turner, you typically hear..."he is much better than that in person" and "he just didn't want to really tip the true secrets behind the moves", etc... If this is truly the case, then shame on him. But, my guess is that it is all hype. I have shown the dvd to many lay people and they typically say..."looks like he did something there." Every move is flawed on this dvd. When the move is truly covered, it is very unnatural looking. Dai Vernon, who is always mentioned as a friend and mentor, could not approved of these "get the money moves."

Also, we always have to be reminded of Richard Turner's martial arts history in his dvd's. He would need it if he ever tried these moves in a real game situation.

Can anyone suggest a dvd that truly has good gambling situation moves on it??

OK, here's honest,

You have no idea of shade or misdirection, do you?
Yes, that is my real name. Yes, I am a real person. No, you probably won't agree with me.
