I have a mini tech from wireless wizardry and I love it. I would love to create some of my own sound effects and mix them into a sound track on my computer. Then I could put the track on the Mini tech.
What programs have you used and how do you record your own voice or noises? I am also interested in how complex the computer programs are, I have limited skill on the computer. Thanks for your help. Magic Tad |

I use Acid... The program, not the illicit substance.
It's relatively user friendly, but there is a learning curve as with any software... Read more about it here: http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/product......pid=1005 Lyndel |

I use WavePad. It's a great program to record your own voice and edit your MP3's. You can find it at http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html

We use Cool Edit Pro which now goes by the name of Adobe Audition. It is a multi track editing suite. Radio stations around the country have used them for years.

I have cake walk and have found it very difficult to work with. I think it requires more of a music background or I am just not computer savvy enough. I am at work now but I will do some surfing and check out the software you guys recommended thanks so much. Magic Tad

Try Audacity. It's an open source audio editing program. Very nice to use and free (as in beer and speech)
