I imagine it will be hard or at least expensive, but does anyone know where the first two books of The Complete Invocation might be found. I can find the third one but was just curious about the other 2.
Thanks, Alton |

If you go to the Genii Magazine website and go into the Richard Kaufmann section you might be able to order a recent printing of the books.
I got a set directly from him a while ago. He doesn't advertise them though so you'll have to email him. Simon |

The last I saw, it was going for $400 to $500 ! (from Kaufmann no less)
Good luck. I got Uber lucky last summer and found a like new edition (but used)for just $99 from Ron Allesi magic. http://www.ronallesimagic.com/ Man I'm glad I got it when I did !

The $400-$500 edition was the first printing slipcase edition, not the recent reprint.
Mr. Kaufman was more than fair when he released some "undiscovered" copies of SEANCE for the original retail price when he knew that copies were selling on eBay for somewhere between $125 and $250 per auction. I can't blame him for trying to get secondary market prices for a book that has value to collectors, especially when the second printing is available at a lesser cost. On that note, maybe someday I'll share my story about getting the slipcase edition of Stanyon's MAGIC for a little more than the wholesale price of the nonexclusive edition. I'm almost sure that somebody was fired over that one. Chris |
