I just joined Sunday (Feb. 11th). In my 20's, before starting a family, I was pretty focused on performing magic but got away from it, what with the demands of family and job. I tried to stay connected and in practice by regularly going into my kids classrooms (after an invite, of course ) to do a routine (spongeballs, disappearing milk in milk glass, multiplying balls) and always had a blast (and I think the kids liked it too!).
Anyway, the kids are growing up and I am trying to get back in the swing of things. I was excited to find this forum. What a great idea. Having a chance to chat with more experienced and accomplished magi will be a lot of fun and will hopefully reduce the steepness of my (re)learning curve. I look forward to getting to know some of you through this forum Well, I guess that's it. Regards, Angelo |

Hello Angelo,
So glad you have joined us! Welcome to The Magic Café! Autumn
Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.
