There have been a lot of new Houdini books out lately and I understand there are more coming. I've also found some very interesting Houdini web sites and was wondering if you all would be willing to post some that you have found. Here are some I've discovered.

I'm taking a stab at this one! Here is a site with a clip of the Craig Ferguson show with the host talking about the new Houdini book. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqlpPtIqHyw&NR

My friend Ken Trombly has a new site called http://www.houdinicollector.com

How about breathing some life back into this one? It used to be a nice place to go without the usual EA bs.

Kevin, The Asyouescape board is mine but I really need to hand it off to someone new. I just don't have the time anymore to keep up with it. Every once in a while it starts to take off again but it's like this board, no one posts, nothing happens.

I guess I'll go ahead and do a shameless plug, I've got some Houdini articles on my blog site. It's not a Houdini site but from time to time I do write about him. I've got a photo of Houdini doing a SJ escape in Washington DC and then a photo of what that same spot looks like today. My blog is at http://www.artistofmystery.com and you have to click on the blog link to go there. I also have some of my Houdini artwork posted in the blog area.

After going through a default it worked. It's a good site, but I can't remember when it was last updated. Either way, it's better than mine.

I can't get http://www.houdiniana.com to work. HOWEVER there is a way to check it out. If you visit http://www.archive.org/web/web.php and then type in houdiniana.com under the search it will bring up older versions of the site.

After hitting the error page, I just clicked on the link. Some of the images didn't show up though.

I have just emailed George Ford, who runs http://www.houdiniana.com to ask him to check out his site and hopefully fix it.

The Houdini Lives site is really good. It gives us up-to-date information on Houdini which is unique on the web. You should all check it out. The link is a couple of posts above this one. Thanks Kevin!

Mick,

I would love to get a website up and running. I don't have clue and probably the time to do it. I have one or two pieces that I could put on there, especially the greatest pitchbook from the UK that came in the mail last week Smile. And better yet, the guy who wrote it is still with us! All the other ones I have, the guys are all dead. Smile .
