This looks interesting, Beth! I have not heard of anything on this, but I am in Europe most of the time. Anyone else have information? I would love to know more.

Wonder is very necessary in life. When we're little kids, we're filled with wonder for the world - it's fascinating and miraculous. A lot of people lose that. They become cynical and jaded, especially in modern day society. Magic renews that wonder.

Posted: Mar 9, 2007 9:13pm Ok this is the info Luna gave on it. "this is a documentary that I have been involved with from the ground floor. It tells the story of the Women behind the Magician's. Very Cool. They are taking it to Sundance Film Festival and then they will sell it to a network like HBO and eventually it will come out on DVD." Sounds awesome to me. Can't wait to see it. This looks fascinating. Judging from the way the trailer's cut, it likely has some mainstream appeal. I can not wait to see it.

I wish I could attend the premiere as I feel like I've been waiting forever for this, but alas I won't be making it back stateside 2 months in a row. Too bad they won't be screening this at the IBM/SAM convention...that would have been a great idea...

I just hope this film does not strongly reaffirm in the lay persons mind the concept of a women's key and only place in magic is as an assistant to male magicians.
