Hankey to Egg, Egg to Lemon, Lemon to Orange - this kind of routine or something similar was described in Jim Seinmeyers book "Hideing the Elephant", truly good book btw.
So I wonder, does anyone know, is there a place to buy this effect, or a source where to learn this illusion in detail? Thanks, Jürgen, |

Keep in mind that you don't need to spend over $1,000 to do what is essentially a sleight of hand trick. What you're getting for your money is the "E-Z Magic" version that can be done by anyone without much practice. True, it is an elegant piece of apparatus, but totally unnecessary to the basic effect of vanishing a small bird, vanishing an egg and finally vanishing a lemon all done with a Devil's Hank. Making the lemon appear inside an orange and an egg appear inside the lemon should be a no-brainer. So all you need the cage for is the production of the bird from the egg at the end of the routine, and any good dove worker can point you to several sleight of hand methods for that. But if your rent is all paid up and you really want something new and shiny to make the other magicians envy you... don't let me stop you!

Bryan,
At last we have the good eggs again from China. They are pottery and in both white and brown. PM me. Bob |

You requested a source and it took me some searching to find it, but I think a good place to start is in Professor Hoffmann's "Later Magic" with the trick entitled "A GLOVE CONJURED INTO A NUT, THE NUT INTO AN EGG, THE EGG INTO A LEMON, AND THE LEMON INTO AN ORANGE." That pretty much has it all except for the bird.
