I just bought the Jozo Bozo DVD (milking). The DVD is great, but I was really disappointed with the packaging and the disk duplication.
The cover insert in the DVD case was pathetic. A piece of cheap paper that has a colour photocopy of the DVD disc on it. That's it. No design or anything. (I'll upload a photo of it if anybody would like). Maybe it's just me, but I think that if you are going to put out a DVD product, and you want people to take you and your product seriously, you need to spend a little bit on the design. It wouldn't cost much to have a basic cover designed by a graphic designer, to make the product look professional. A small cost, especially when you're as successful as Jozo is. The other problem I had was the disc itself. Disc 1 skipped and jumped a lot and then wouldn't play at all. Just gave me 'unreadable disc' errors and told me to clean the disc. Having worked in the multimedia industry for a few years, that usually indicates a very poor grade of blank media being used to burn the data onto. The discs look like they have been burnt on some kind of small, maybe home-based DVD burner, and not a professional replication machine (you can tell by looking at the bottom of the discs) Has anyone else had this problem with the Jozo Bozo discs? On the contrary, Ken Davis's Birthday Dough DVD is excellent in its quality and production. Professionally designed packaging and properly replicated discs. The way it should be done, in my opinion. |

You can contact him through http://www.JozoBozo.com, I'm sure he would be happy to listen to some constructive criticism of his products. He was very helpful to me when I had some kids entertainer questions just recently.

I also could not watch the dvd due to it being unreadable. I agree that the packaging was extremely cheap. I felt I got "milked."

I am a little bit concerned that some of you guys may be unknowingly purchasing bootleg copies, may I ask where your copies came from?
Jozo's DVD's were done in Croatia and there have been some compatability issues with some DVD players in the US. He was very upfront about this last year at KIDabra, only selling to people who had a laptop with them, who could verify that the discs would play. I do know that original copies will play on all laptops. Hope this helps, Mark |

I HATE DVDs. the technology is crap. Something has got to come out better and less breakable/scratchable and more viewable than this...
Half my L&L DVDs won't play on my expensive player and iclean it to death. so I have to use a differernt player which usually works but not all the time. everything seems to work on a PC. Wonder why that is. I know I got to watch this DVD but not sure if I had to run around finding the player it would work on. some players seem very finicky to me.

Got mine from Hanklee as well.
It sometimes stops in the middle and won't go back and forward anymore. Usally it is ok when I just play it from the start. If I use ff it and continu playing, it often plays for a bit and then get stuck. It is anoying. I do not mind about the cover design at all. Goood enough I think. I do like the dvd as long as it is playing all right. |

hmmm mine looks sleightly different from this one. Same picture but (like frogstomper) this picture on a dvd. So a colour photocopy of the DVD disc on it. But the word "milking" is not there on mine. |

Agree with those who complain about the quality.
Also got mine from Hank Lee but it's a problem from the production of this DVD, no from the retailer store. DVDs only run in my laptop, ...."Sometimes"...... pathetic... |

Are the discs blue ray? DVD+ or DVD- .....There are too many formats between different players and discs for my taste. Industry market warsm like VHS vs. Beta, too bad, Beta was the better quality format for the medium. Alas, I am not sure thqat many discs or their makers are attentive to the -/+ on the machines, or discs they use, OR remember to mark the labels so that users can know which they need.
I am sure there are more techinical issues here, but that is the basic of what I recently learned while getting a DVD burner.....feh! Kay

Complaining about a photo? Come on guys. Are you buying information that will help you become a better children's entertainer, or are you buying a pretty picture so you can show all your pretty dvd's displayed on a nice shelf?
Who cares if the dvd came in a simple plastic slipcase, with fancy photo, as long as you got a workable dvd with the information that you paid for? I can understand being upset with a dvd that isn't working, but a picture??? Brian |

My DVD doesn't play perfect either. I how ever will say that I got my moneys worth out of this DVD as I have adapted one part of is show into mine. If I even get one line out of a DVD then it is worth its weight in gold (good thing cds are light)

My DVD came without any artwork at all.
Also from a top 3 retailer everyone buys from. Just a constantly skipping disk in a blank cd case.
