Riffle Stacking Basics Ebook by John Clerkenwell
http://www.geocities.com/johnclerkenwell PDF Format $15 I saw this advertised on the Café just before Christmas and couldn't find any information about the book anywhere, but decided to take the risk as it promised a lot and was fairly inexpensive. It's not an instant download, but it did arrive two days after I paid. For your $15 you get a 23 page pdf file, about 18-20 of the pages actually have content. I was a little worried as it didn't seem like much for the money, but I was wrong. The book teaches how to riffle stack two cards, primarily for Texas Hold'em. There is the ultra-easy two shuffle method, and a more advanced one shuffle method. Apart from Karl Fulves' Gamblers' Third Lesson I hadn't done any riffle stacking before, so I was a complete novice. I got the basics of the double shuffle method in less than a day, and within a couple of days I was managing to stack my two cards to fall to whoever I wanted (on anyone's deal) at the same speed I would normally riffle shuffle the deck. the single shuffle method is a lot trickier though - I would love to see a video of this. The descriptions of each method are very simple to understand, and each step has a very clear line-drawing so you can see what you should be doing. Also in the book is a section that tells you how you can use riffle stacking to your advantage, even if you can't cull two cards to the top of the deck. This was really interesting, although I doubt I'll ever use this stuff in a game Even though the book seems small, it packs a lot of great stuff into it's pages on a subject you don't often see much about. For the price of a couple of packet-tricks I feel I have learned more from this than a lot of gambling-related material I have bought previously. If you're interested in this, I highly recommend it. 8/10 |

Thank you for the review. I have sold a few copies of the ebook and this is the first feedback I have seen, so I am grateful. I would be very interested to know what others who bought the ebook thought.
