I agree with just about all the listed magicians but I have to add that the new UK talent like Martin Cox, Andy Martin and Mark Shortland are very funny and one not to miss who is hysterical is our very own James Fortune.

Of all the working pros I have ever seen (and it's quite a few) my favourite comedy magician is TC Tahoe. He is working full time on cruise ships now and from what I hear is killing them. You don't see or hear about TC much these days because he's far too busy out there working and 'doing' it.
Perhaps the funniest act I've ever seen was Ricki Dunn (who passed away) who was without a doubt the world's best pickpocket. Nobody today can even come a second close to Ricki and his act was just plain clever and funny!

Although I haven't seen too many in person I think David Williamson is the funniest. Next in no particular order would be Mac King, Jeff Hobson, and let's not forget Fielding Melish. lol

I don't really find Stephen Bargatze too funny, I like the way he can make light of his problems but his material wasn't too funny. Tom Mullica he has some good one liners. Why did he give up magic? Maybe it's just the British humour (some have lost it as Gazzo says). David Acer was very funny at Blackpool, especially his way to cover up a dropped TT.

Amazing Jonathan is my favorite. Love his style. Almost seems "amazed" when anything he tries actually works.

I'm surprised to see Lennart Green mentioned only once. Maybe he's not classified as a comic magician, but I find him to be hillarious...
Also, I attended a Mike Caveney lecture, and that guy guy is very funny. I'm surprised to not see his name listed here. Then again, I know that I need to broaden my horizons, as I have not yet seen some of the other prominent magicians listed on this topic...
Why doesn't it tickle when I tickle myself, but it still hurts when I stick a fork in my eye?
