I'm not an afternoon person. Early morning I'm fine, late at night I'm fine, at three pm I want a nap.

I'm like MagicSanta. I'm good from 6:30AM till about 11AM. Then I tend to fizzle out. Take an afternoon nap and about 4 or 5 I kick in again till about midnight or 1AM. Once in a while I can go later, but as to the afternoons, I'm no good to anybody.

I would go to bed at 6:30 if my family would let me. I have never used an alarm clock because I always wake up about 4:30. After Sunday, I'll probably be sleeping an hour later...

The words "good" and "morning" should never be used in a sentence together. Talk about an oxymoron.

I am up from 7 am to 2 am pretty much every day...I'd stay up 'til 4 if I didn't have to get up at 7. I force myself to go to bed.
I suppose that makes me a night person who gets up early anyway. I've found that if I get more than five hours of sleep a day, I'm all sluggish and can't really function properly. And I am one of those annoying people who is cheerful first thing after I get up, even before coffee. Basically, I hate sleeping. Such a waste of time. Gwyd |

Never criticize someone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Then, when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away from them and you will have their shoes.

Sometimes I wake up grumpy in the mornings. Other times I let her sleep.

Gwyd and Marvello,
I'm actually on the same train as you. I'm up at 6:00 or so everyday to get my son off to school, and I keep at it until 1:00 or 2:00 am. I have to be doing something. I don't sleep much even when I am in bed (trying). Every few days, I'll cop a few zz's just so I don't stick my hand into sharp spinning blades. My wife is a M-F nine to fiver. My son, being in school, essentially is, too. Time of day, or even what day it is are meaningless to me when I'm working at home. It matters when fsmily commitments require it, or I have shows scheduled. ~michael

I get up early because Ihave to, but much prefer the PM and happily stay up well into the early hours.

Well I'm a 3rd vote for 7 AM to 2 AM (Michael's 6:00 is too early). If I didn't have to work and take care of my family, I'd sleep until 10 AM. (must be a Michigan thing)
