"rich and a cheater" Are most cheaters rich?

I suspect the one's who brag are not rich and the one's who you don't know about are the rich ones
Also, the term "rich" may mean different things to many people. And we will not even throw in demographics or geographical differences which skew the definition of rich. 10 to 1 is that my definition if rich is different than yours and my definition of rich changed over the years as well. But, I don't think there is an official survey

A cardsharp should never have a guilty conscience for so called "victims." at the card table as there’s never an honest man there. You can’t feel guilty about taking money from someone who would take money from you. If I was a sucker I would have the sharps take my money and blame myself for being a sucker. A professional rarely "squeals" about losing. Consequently I just do onto others at the table, as I would have them do unto me. I don’t have a jot of guilt about it and in fact I am shamelessly proud of succeeding when I do. If you should happen to see mealymouthed pretensions of piety pass my lips, you can bet that I am lying.

Ops. Just now I realize three different person is one man. Doc from c_N_c group, man who made cold_deck video and Doc here. Before I suppose Doc is standard nikname for cheaters from Merphy Law's "Never Play Cards With a Man Called Doc". So, hello Mr. Doc.
If I understand well N-Strippers is deck what was known from 1870 when standard cutted deck was so popular that all know them and can catch cheaters. I am so apologize. What peoples mean when write "excellent video"? Demonstration very much bad for magicians and for gamblers. If you do not know how to perform you still can understand "something wrong". I am so apologize, if it was shown only first time before strong practice, may be now possible to get best show? Cold_deck was much better... Please, I am so apologize if I wrote something not correct.

While it was interesting, I don't quite understand the comments on here.
First, I am sure even doc would be the first to admit stripping technique was fairly obvious. Pull out. Rotate deck. Pull out. Rotate deck. Pull out. It was an interesting concept, but I am not sure why anything like this would be of any use (or at least of enough use to merit the work needed). Second, the shuffle work was fairly amateurish. The shuffling looked fishy. Again, I am sure doc would be the first to admit this. The hesitation on the shuffle would have me cocking my head asking to look at the deck. The only thing of any real merit on the video was the shift at the end. I did enjoy your video on the deck switch work.

Moreover that table and kneeling on the carpet looked amateurish. The patter and the persona was not too good neither. Might I also suggest that you wear a tuxedo in future as that T Shirt doesn’t do anything for the ambience of the performance. I would also prefer blue backed cards and some pleasant background music.

Well boys it appears I've been suck'in hind tit on this discussion. Been to long at the tables I reacon.
I suspect that this N-Stripper deck can't smoke the bacon at the table. But it looks like a nice ride if it lays in your hands or over the mat all night. While I don't see how it ties into Pops methods I do like the fact it can be done in the dark by touch alone. Looks like a little fun can be had with workin one of this decks up. Thanks Doc! Hey Doc, have you had any success in culling cards on the riffle by feel with this method? What I mean is running your thumbs up the inside long edge rather than stripping them out. I keep looking for better culling methods for both the mat and the card table. Thanks again for another path to ponder. SW

Tommy, I agree wholeheartedly with your criticisms. Perhaps we can really help Doc. I have a few of my own:
1) Doc, you should learn to speak in a deep, clear voice and use pregnant pauses and LOTS of jargon. 2) You should have a large mirror above a professional, green felted card table. Giving us only one view sucks. Not seeing green also sucks. I mean, we even have green as the background for the Café--if you can't afford felt, you could at least digitally color the video. 3) Preferably, you would have a small audience of at least one person to say, "Wow" and such, like in one of your earlier videos. And it is simply not believable to say that the audience is someone like Sal or Steve or even Dai: there should be cutaways to the reactions of the audience. 4) One word: Fingernail Polish. It goes with the tuxedo. 5) There should be at least one magic poster--preferably a reprint of an old Houdini performance--on the wall in the background. 6) Should you ever show your face, you should remember to use eye shadow. It's good for the cameras. And no one will think you are gay, your having a few kids and all. 7) Most importantly, you fail to give a list of all references. A good magic video should list every magician who ever did anything similar, to give credit where credit is due. Wait...you're saying that magicians are generally not familiar with N-strippers? You can't attribute your sources? Aren't you even a magician? What's going on here, anyway? Gruss, Jeff |

"Phantoms of the card Table". Brithland, Gazzo.
Chapter Ten "He's a bedroom cheater," Scott said of Gazzo, meaning someone who had the skills of a card cheat but wouldn't use them in a real game. It was a term he applied to every magician who came his way, and was used as a way of reminding Gazzo that he shouldn't ever dream of taking up a career as a cardsharp. Chapter Twelve "There's a difference between a 'bedroom cheater' and an actual cheater," said Scott, "A bedroom cheater is just that, they don't get any further than the bedroom. They can't do anything under pressure. All magicians are bedroom cheaters until they prove themselves different. They just want to play their little game of thinking they are gambler cheats."

I don't know what doc's N-strippers are, but I do know that David Maleks DVD Briefly describes the difference between N-strippers and belly strippers.

I think even 'briefly' is a bit overstated Jeremy, Malek really doesn't say much other than to confirm that N-Strippers exist, and hustlers tend to use them.
