I'm Doc-Z and I'm from Norway. I'm pretty new to magic, allthough I've practised some stuff since I was a kid, but never dived into it like I have now. I'm 27 years old, and I've been doing magic for about two months now. Some say it's too late, but that doesn't discourage me from wanting to learn! The thing I like most is card magic, I've always been facinated by cards, and I love having 52 props with me all the time. Well well enough about me, anyways hello guys, just wanted to let you know I'm here Smile

Well it's never too late. I myself am 32 and have just picked up on this amazing craft about 6 months ago, and am having a great time with it.

I meet magicians from time to time as a gigging musician. They are very secretive, and doesn't seem that interested in sharing knowledge regarding magic. I asked a guy once how I might start out getting into magic, he told me that I was too old, and the only way one could get good at magic, was if you started out as a kid. So that kept me off it for a couple of years, but a couple of months ago I saw a guy perform a real simple trick, called "This 'n' That" it blew me away. I noticed what he was doing, but the cool thing was that he was selling it so good, it didn't matter. So I got a deck of cards, fidled with it for hours and days, days and weeks, the suddenly out of the blue, I could do it! Ever since I got hooked, I've picked up a couple of DVD's and some books and I'm really diving into to this stuff. I posted a few vids on Youtube showing off two of the tricks I've learned. I posted a post in the beginnners forum with the links. So thanks for the encouragement guys! I love this stuff!
