Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before but I am looking for the right connections so that I can plug my iPod Shuffle into my peavey escort 2000 for the music in my show. If anyone knows what they are called it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ste |

I'm not sure I understand the post. Radio Shack in my local area seems to have parts for lots of different connections.

I'm not sure what the Peavey has, but I assume either quarter inch or RCAs (red and white pairs). A stereo mini-jack to RCA is easy enough to find and, yes, Radio Shack will have them and pretty much call them that. If you have quarter inch jacks only as an option then you probably need a stereo mini-jack to mono quarter inch to use one channel or stereo mini-jack to dual quarter inch if you want to use two channels unless you know for a fact that your quarter inch inputs are stereo. Then you want to get a stereo mini-jack to stereo quarter inch. Otherwise you will lose one side of your sound...
Just for the record, I always suggest buying at least TWO of any necessary cord and keeping them in two separate places.

I used to do sound for a living for the big boys. You can now say you have used the same sound tech as Sting.
