Those standard labels on trick bottles seldom looked convincing for me. So I printed some myself (grands vins miserable-dernier cru-appelation pas controlee), but also looked for pictures of labels. I can recommend some websites: http://home.tiscalinet.ch/wineman (also look at the links!) and http://www.winegirl.ch . The bizarre magician will also find altar wine labels at http://www.winegirl.ch/Subjects/Messwein.html ! When there are more than two bottles stuck together, the smaller one looks strange with some sets. I found it helpful to shorten these bottles, paint them black and to label them as port wine.
It also helps if you print the labels in slightly different sizes (according to the bottles). As there are all topics found with labels, you can print the labels fitting the story you are going to tell: circus, devil, witch, antique castle, monastery, crown jubilee, wedding, opera... |

See if you can get Payne to post a picture of the labels on his multplying bottles. Six of one kind and six different kinds. All themed to his routine.

Some of the companies that sell wine making supplies also sell generic labels. You can add your own data to these labels with your ink jet printer.
