Hi all
Just thought I'd share my views on the new Alan Rorrison effect. I'm sure a lot of you are aware about the drawn apart/DLYH routines that appeared a little while ago, and since then Alan has worked on a new method that no other magicians have used or come across. Incase your not aware of the routine, its basically this: You draw a stick man on a business card and get the spectator to sign the back. Once this is done you proceed to rub the head and apply a little 'magical' heat and the head moves from the stick man to the corner of the card! The beauty of this is that there is NO moving parts whatsoever! the simplicity of this is incredible, and I'm really looking forward to performing this. I've always liked Alan's work, and he's definitely one to watch out for in the world of magic! You can get it at his site http://www.alanrorrison.com, and for £8 its an absolute steal! The video is clear, concise and well porduced considering he doesent have a big budget to porduce these videos. A great effect, I'd give it 9/10 Cheers Paul |

Can you compare this to Drawn Apart? I think that's what it's called. It's another available download that's good but this version looks much less complicated!

Yes I have drawn apart and I much prefer Evolution. I was always a little wary about performing drawn apart, due to the nature of the gimmick. With Evolution, you don't have to worry about this.
don't get me wrong, drawn apart is very good, but I much prefer this method. Hope this helps Cheers Paul |

What is the difficulty level of Evolution? Easy enough for a hobbyist doing magic for friends and family?

A beginner could do this. And keep in mind. I know some hobbyist who could kick some pros behinds!!
Happy you liked it. Drawn was an " Independent creation" to something I released years ago...... I was annoyed to say the least but I decided to make it a positive |

Thanks PortMagician,
Is it the same effect as Don't Lose Your Head on the website? There is nothing for Evolution on the website. I appreciate your help. |

The effect is don't loose your head. people are calling it evolution due to the evolution in it. You can also download the original don't loose your head free from that page but the new one renders it usless in my opinion

I have now played around with this and it's excellent. The fact that the specs can actually do the drawing, and the paper/card etc can be borrowed are definite pluses. There isn't really a limit to what you can draw and there really is a lot of possibilities with this. Great effect, great method (which has sooo many possibilities) and for me, a great purchase. Recommended.

Wow. This is a gem. I just received it, and absolutely love it. This is the business card handout that you will use. It's amazingly practical, and will leave your audience with something truly impossible. Nicely done, Alan.

There's a lot of exposure and theft going on in magic. At the end of the day its always happened. But Creators still create and I'm happy to be one of them. Thank you for your comments guys. Im over whelmed by them

Hey Markymark! I'm a plonker in a book(let)! Don't worry though, I won't be exposing this!
Not that my word counts for much but I just have to say that Alan has come up with something REALLY cool here. It's easy to do, practical and the effect is amazing! All in all, a killer routine! No hawf bad furra wee guy fae Greenock! Hurry up and buy it! Don't waste your money anywhere else - including http://www.full52.com - I've heard that stuff's all rubbish! (See what I did there? I managed to plug my own site, cunningly disguising it as useful 'don't go there' style advice! It's called reverse psychology - and some people say that's backwards thinking!) Dave.
