Well after getting back from H&R Block the other day I figure that the tax return money I got should be spent on something I don't need, but want. So I want another pair of contacts.

What I am asking is which contact lenses do you think look better? I already had white ones before, and the only picture I have of me wearing them is of me dressed as a ninja.
White eyed Ninja

I am thinking about just getting another pair of those, as they have served me well in the past. Now I know that the white ones turn heads and stop people in their tracks because I wore them my entire senior year back in high school. So I know that they would stand out.

And my second choice was something like the white but a little different.

Reaper lenses

And I know that these would still stand out just like the white ones but are a bit different, the red ring looks really good IMO.

The other option I was thinking about was this kind.

There only seems to me pictures of women wearing them, heh. As for these ones, I am not too sure about. I am not sure if they would stand out as much as the others, but I like them. I would have went with something like this

but a friend of mine is getting those.

And Red ones just don't do it for me. I remember seeing a guy wearing red ones, and it took me a minute to figure out he was wearing them. So they didn't stand out that well, and that makes me rethink the black and yellow ones above, cause I don't think they would stand out that much either. But in a way they would look kind of real as it just looks like a yellow iris. And I feel I have to keep away from any of the more striking yellow ones, as they would look too much like the pair my friend has. I was also thinking of ones shaped like clubs or spades, but I decided against it, lol.

Your thoughts?

Much prefer the white - they look good in real life - the yellow ones tend to look sickly unless you have a glowing tan.

Did you ever see the Penn & Teller bit with the "3 of Clubs" contact lenses? That was pretty cool.

I like the X'ed out eyes myself.

Well I am going to have an eye exam, which I haven't for a while, to make sure my prescription hasn't changed and that the base curve of my eye hasn't changed either. And I am getting them through an optometrist to begin with. It isn't like I am ordering them without any professional involvement.

I think I am leaning towards the reaper lenses. I think the wolf would only be noticed after getting into a conversation with somebody. Whereas the reaper ones would start a conversation. That and I could use them for intimidation lol.

I have the white ones, and they are a lot of fun. Someday, I want to get the mirrored ones.

You mean like the ones from Chronicles of Riddick? I wonder what it is like to see out of those, or if you even can, heh. Every place I have seen say they aren't for the general public. Not to mention they cost a pretty penny.

Yeah, exactly like those. It would be like wearing sunglasses basically. They are only about $350, sometimes $300 on sale. I think that Twisted and Flames would really freak me out!

I was just thinking, I don't think I could wear the Reaper ones at nearly any kind of job, although I could probably get away with wearing the werewolf ones, heh.

And those Twisted and Flames ones are entire eye contacts, I hear they are painful to put in and wear lol.

I can save my money on the blood shot ones, and just get a fifth of Jack Daniels, instead.

Eh... but I don't drink... so this is my only option.

Yeah, those reaper lenses are pretty intense Joey.

Werewolf 1 and 3 are subtle. I like those.
In closeup I can see how some people may not see them right away.
However, if someone does see them they may point it out to others. "Did you see his eyes!"

There was a guy at work that wore the dragon style lenses.

Ripley's Believe It or Not, in one of its books, mentioned a chinese official who actually had two irises. Can't help but wonder how he perceived the world.

I prefer the black sclera. But I am too afraid to wear contacts

I have pure black ones from when I do my blue man character. He so scary.
