Hi Lee here, I am 26years old from Aberdeen Scotland, I really like seeing magic being performed ever since my parents and I went to florida when I was 10.
If I can remember right we visited Old Town in Kissimmee, and their was a magic shop, and that's were I saw the floating dollar being performed and the coin in bottle, I bought them with some of my holiday money, still have them to this day.
Recently I got a few DVD's on the basics of coin magic to start off with, hopefully
I can be accepted into The MagicCafe community and learn a few things along the way.

Thanks Lee,
Dr. TORA

Hi Lee,

Welcome to The Magic Café! Glad to see that you're still interested in magic. The floating bill and the coin to bottle are still great effects today! There's much to learn other than making a bill float or a coin vanish. Be sure to learn about the psychology, types of misdirection, creating patter, and the other "skills" needed to make your performances entertaining and truly magical.

Enjoy your stay here in The Magic Café! The first cup is on me!

Hi Lee

Welcome to the Café.

Since you're in Aberdeen, I may see you at the SAMS Convention in Montrose at the end of this month. You can check the SAMS Website for more details.

Maybe see you there?

Best wishes

Peter

Hello LeeUK and gordonmj,

You can find the Aberdeen Magical Society at http://www.aberdeenmagic.com/index.htm

There will be a few of us down at SAMS to see Cardman and Wayne Dobson.
Say hello - I will be the baldy, beardy, fat guy who keeps dropping things and with a pile of ripped up or folded cards infront of him! Though this probably won't really narrow it down at a convention!
My name is Norn Bichan (http://www.aberdeenmagic.com/norn.htm)

All the best,
Norn
