Okay I'm a big believer that anything can be given a comedy presentation.

however doing stand up, parlour kinda magic.

not all card tricks are suitable for stage.

what tricks do you think are very suited for stage?

here's a few from the top of my head:

cards across
card or cards to pocket
invisible deck
some version of mind reading
tossed out deck

My favorites stage card effects are Sidewalk Shuffle and McCombical Deck, with large cards. Both of these effects are very easy to add one's own comedic touches to, yet are very amazing.

I love Chis Mitchell's version of tossed out deck. He sells the routine with the necessary prop. Really funny when he performs it.

I've seen Eugene Burger do the invisible deck with one volunteer on stage using a standard deck. Amazingly good! Shows how presention is everything.
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

Here us th first time I have seen Eugene Burger's name in the comedy section. A bit odd LOL!

Anyhow, that aside, what do you want to accomplish. Do you want just a list? Or do you want to find a trick for a purpose?

Jumbo rising cards work very well! So does the Harry Anderson "Jumbo Marked", excellent opener with some good comedy thrown in.

An effect that you "might be able to use" and "maybe" put in your act LOL.

Afraid of commitment?

What about "Card On Forehead" or "Card To Mouth"? Both are done with regular-sized decks.

I got a jumbo invisible deck at the Blackpool convention. I also do cards accross in my stand up routine, and will soon be adding toss out deck.

a lot of mentalism routines could be done. pete carroll uses a regular sized deck, and uses a memorised deck, or a one ahead method. the presentation can then be not a card trick, but a mind reading trick.

a friend of mine does signed card to kiwi/lemon.

sam the bellhop with jumbo cards? you don't have to do it the bill Malone style with all the fast false shuffles (hell, not many of us can lets be hoenst!) you can just cut the deck a couple of times without disturbing the order.

I would also second Michael finney's card on forehead, a killer!
