I think a man purse is ok, but the p***y pouch is just too girly for me, and I'm not afraid to wear pink. I plan on getting a pair of purple crocs to go with my purple sun glasses.

I carry a man purse, too. I wrote about it here:

I've been wearing them for a year. I do 12+ hour shifts as an RN and have not had any leg or back pain since I started wearing them. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've been looking at them since I saw them at Hudson Trail Outfitters last year, they look like they might be practical on camping trips, around camp and even for canoeing.

Here on the Las Vegas strip, everyone wears them!

A lot of women who are visiting the Strip for the first time tend to think of it as an event, and dress up, including high heels. Once they experience how much walking is involved in visiting the strip, they quickly turn to more comfortable shoes, like Crocs.

Personally, I think they make people look like escaped inmates.....

But to each his own. I hear they are comfortable.

Best,

Ok so I've worn them to my pitch twice now ... here's my report.

They take a little getting used to, they feel differnt than regular shoes. The first day, I wasn't very comfortable in them. I wasn't going to wear them again, but somehow the next day I wore them around the house and got a little more familar with them.

Today I decided to go ahead and wear them again. I must admit, they are easy on the back. They weight nothing, you could probroly float one on a few strands of IT. Easy to walk in. And while I don't feel like I am walking on air ... I have noticed that my back is not hurting ... which is amazing since:

I have some serious back problems ... for started, one foot is smaller than the other. And then one leg is longer than the other. And my back is curved (scolosis) ... not to mention the years of abuse (ie: hitchiking in motorcycle boots, and contorting my body into all kinds of weird positions for magic).

The doctors wanted to fuse a few of my vertabes together, but I refused to let them ... needless to say, I experience a lot of back problems. Crocs seem to help the lower back the most, it is unusal for me to work five hours on conceret without my mats and not feel pain.

So I think I will keep wearing them. If you pick out your shoes for the fashion statement, they may not be for you. But if you pick out your shoes based on what is best for your health ... crocs might be just what you need. They are lighter than nike air walkers, my favorite shoe.

I wear them to the Dog Beach, they are great for going in and out of the water and unlike my sandles when my 80lb dog steps on my foot, I'm covered!

I'm thinking of wearing a pair for my "Fun in the Sun" magic show.
