I have been seeing lots of people wearing these plastic clogs, and saying they are perfect for people who are always on their feet, so who's wearem?

My wife and daughter. My daughter has some copies that give her blisters. They both like the real ones.

Thanks Josh
I ordered a pair for my hoochy coochy mamma, and if she likes them I'll try a pair for me. The reason why I'm doing it that way is because my wife is so little that we can save money by buying childrens shoes for her first. Al Angello

Crocs' parent company originated in Canada and they approached our sister company 2 or 3 years ago to produce them. Our sister company uses a new technology called "Direct Injection Molding". Today they produce Crocs in various colors and styles. I wear them all the time as they are very comfortable and hygenic. The compound that is used in the direct injection process is bacteria proof and many hospitals use them just for that reason. They make excellent boat shoes as they resist slippage on the wet decks and surfaces. There are many ripoffs now, but they do not compare to the original Crocs. The compound is a trade secret and it is softer and more comfortable. Crocs may cost more but they are better.

I don't wear them yet ... but based on everything people that do wear them have told me, I intend to purchase a pair for street performing this summer. Everyone that wears them praises them and I have never heard a negative comment from someone wearing them.

I wore them about 3 years ago. they are nice and comfortable. I only used them as house slippers and never wore them outside. Nowadays, I think they are done with are kinda like fanny packs..or those weird muscle pants they sold 15 years ago. I would never wear them out in public...i t would just be stupid and the train has alreeady left. If you want to argue about that...then I would already say...wear those fanny packs..wear those weird baggy neon and animal print muscle pants. and wear those man purses...If you are comfortable with that..than good for you...otherwise...don't cry about a circular battle

Man Chris I always hated those pussy pouches, they are for girly men. This is great news, and I can't wait till my hot mamma gets hers. I got really interested in them when I saw Mario (the chef) wearing a pair, because Mario can afford anything he wants.

Couldn't they have designed something that doesn't look stupid as h*ll?

I wear Crocks (the real deal) indoors and out. I've been wearing them for several years. I find them comfortable. An Operating Room physician friend of mine turned me on to them because I was complaining about my back hurting after standing all day.
If I have a complaint about them is that being plastic (or whatever) they tend to be hot and you have to wear the vented models in the summertime. Unlike Chris I've never thought about or worried about being on the train, in style, etc. I'd wear those neon pants on the street too if I thought they were comfortable and drew attention to me, helped build a crowd, and fatten the hat. I wear a poacher’s pouch too. Of course the pouch is just another version, albeit a large version, of the fanny packs (in my case a "gut" pouch) but I do love my man purse! But then I have rarely in my life been “fashionable” or “in”. It is not high on my list of priorities.

You are the very guy that stired up my interest at that other forum, and you caught me cross referenceing you. Where do you busk Harry? I don't live that far from you, and I'de like to see you work? Is it the inner harbor? Al Angello

Harry......
You need not worry about me, I don't really care about being "fashionable" or "in" as you put it. I don't really care what a person wears. I was saying for myself that I wouldn't wear mine outside..personally I would feel uncomfortable. Unlike harry I don't feel the need to personally call people out while I post my opinions in the forums. oh wait, I guess I just did.....oh well |

Yes you are so right, but in all fairness I just noticed his post count, and had to welcome him. A little late yes but I do try.
